Amsterdam Gay Clubs
There are gay bars, clubs and discos all over Amsterdam. Aside from music and drink, many offer entertainment and special parties throughout the week. The oldest gay bar in the city is Boysclub 21. Blue Boy has been in business for over 25 years. Blue Boy operates in conjunction with Why Not. Why Not is on the ground floor is provides a great atmosphere for drinks and conversation. The crowd here is mixed as a lot of women enjoy the all male go-go shows. Upstairs, at Blue Boy, the atmosphere is a little more intense. Entertainment includes both strippers and live sex shows. If you find something you like, private rooms are available - including massage facilities and an S&M room.

Exit may be the biggest gay club in the city. With four floors, it has its own cafe, a massive dance floor and a fourth-story dark room. Cockring features powerful laser light shows on the dance floor and strippers on the weekends. If you prefer something a little more laid back, you may want to try April. With three different bars in a single club, they all offer a different vibe, but overall the place is a bit more relaxed and elegant than many of the other gay clubs in town. If you want to party you can, Bodytalk is famous for their foam parties, and Club Trash throws mega-bashes, with as many as 2500 people attending.

For those looking for a special niche, Warmoesstraat is where you will find The Eagle, Dirty Dicks and Stablemaster; clubs that cater to the leather crowd. And finally You II is for women only.
