The Avenue Hotel is housed within historic buildings in central Amsterdam within one kilometre of both Dam Square and the famous Central Station. The 80 guestrooms are decorated in warm tones and all include satellite television, direct-dial phones and hair dryers.

From there take tram number 1, 2 or 5 and get off at the second stop. The hotel is on the left. Alternatively, a taxi to the hotel will cost approximately 40 EUR. Much of Amsterdam can be explored on foot although trams run throughout the city. Bicycles are also a good way to see the city, and there is an extensive network of cycle lanes.
