Location. The boutique College Hotel is located just south of the city centre in Amsterdam, Holland. The hotel is close to the popular Vondelpark, and two kilometres from the Van Gogh Museum and the Diamond Factory.
Hotel Features. Occupying a converted school, built in 1894, The College Hotel has a modern interior decorated in warm tones. There is an arched courtyard and an onsite gift shop. Staff at the 24-hour front desk can help with sightseeing trips to local attractions like the Music Hall.
The hotel's College Restaurant serves modern Dutch cuisine from an open kitchen. Coffees are served in the lobby lounge, and drinks and cocktails are available in the College Bar. Room service is available 24 hours a day.
Small groups can be accommodated in the hotel's meeting room. Wireless Internet access is available throughout the hotel (surcharge may apply).
Guestrooms. The College Hotel's 40 climate-controlled guestrooms are decorated in warm tones. Rooms offer flat-screen televisions, satellite television, video game consoles, minibars and wireless Internet access (surcharge). Bathrooms feature power showers or bath tubs, bathrobes and complimentary toiletries. In-room massages are available.
Expert Tip. It's less than a kilometre to the spacious Vondelpark, home to outdoor cafés and playgrounds. The park is ideal for jogging, walking or cycling.

| From Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS):
Distance to College Hotel is 25 kilometres, approximately 30 minutes' drive.
Getting there. A railway station is located under Schiphol Plaza, in the central hall of the terminal. Every 15 minutes a direct train runs to Amsterdam Central Station. Shared Schiphol Travel taxis can be found outside the arrivals hall. The cars can seat up to eight people and cost around 19 EUR per person. Private taxis into Amsterdam city centre cost approximately 40 EUR. Public buses frequently run to Amsterdam and other destinations. Buses 197 and 370 go to central Amsterdam and Amsterdam Zuid. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. The hotel is on Roelof Hartstraat, in the south of the city centre, near the Vondelpark. Amsterdam can easily be explored by foot. However, there are convenient bus, tram and metro services running through the city and outside areas. Cycling is also a popular way to see Amsterdam. There are taxi ranks at the central station. Driving within the canal ring is discouraged. The hotel offers its own car park (surcharge).
Driving directions. From Amsterdam Schiphol Airport:
Take the A4 towards Amsterdam, and exit at S109 (Amsterdam Raj).
Turn right at the lights onto Europaboulevard.
Take the third exit at the roundabout and, after 450 metres, turn left onto Wielingenstraat.
After 900 metres, turn right onto Stadionweg.
After 500 metres, turn left into Hobbemakade, and then turn left into Roelof Hartstraat.
You will see the hotel on your right.
